WalkFit - Winter 2016
Are you a BEGINNER? Do you want to improve your health and fitness? Do you know that WALKING is a great exercise? We offer a safe, welcoming place for you to get fit, make friends and have fun! At Fleet Feet Sports Fox Valley, we encourage you to exercise at your own comfortable pace and we are focused on YOUR success.
Training Location & Logistics
This 6-week program is perfect for walkers of all levels! The first workout will take place Tuesday, January 5 at 6:00PM. The program meets weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00PM at the Appleton Ice Center within Appleton Memorial Park.
The follow dates are all 6:00PM group workouts:
Week 1: Tuesday, January 5 and Thursday, January 7
Week 2: Tuesday, January 12 and Thursday, January 14
Week 3: Tuesday, January 19 and Thursday, January 21
Week 4: Tuesday, January 26 and Thursday, January 28
Week 5: Tuesday, February 2 and Thursday, February 4
Week 6: Tuesday, February 9 and Thursday, February 11
The final Thursday of the program, February 11, is "Graduation Day". Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate your success with the group!
About the WalkFit Training Program
This program includes a training plan designed by an experienced coach, group runs, a technical t-shirt, great clinics, advice, and tips along the way.
As part of the program, participants will receive the following:
**A 6-week training schedule;
**Coach-led workouts on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings;
**Weekly emails with training tips, nutrition and other educational information;
**Technical gear;
**Shopping Specials at Fleet Feet Sports; and more!
